Pastoral Support
Providing a safe, caring, and dynamic environment for all our students is essential at SIS-UK. Students’ personal interests and physical fitness are catered to through our Student Life Organization and the sports curriculum. On the pastoral side, a team of house parents works to support all students’ happiness and well-being in a boarding environment.
House parents live in accommodation attached to the boarding units of their students and provide a supportive, caring environment, available 24-hours a day. Whenever a house parent is off-duty, an assistant houseparent will be in the boarding house. Each student is allocated to a room which they share with a small number of other students. Each boarding house has a common room and other facilities where students can relax and socialise. Strong bonds of friendship develop between students in the boarding houses.
The school keeps in frequent contact with parents and is happy to receive telephone calls, E-mails and visits (by arrangement) at any time during the term time and also during the school holidays.
